Free access to the Megascans Ecosystem
Since joining forces with Epic Games last year, the Megascans Ecosystem has received major updates for both Bridge and Mixer, and seen a wide variety of new assets added to the Megascans library.
This ecosystem is tightly integrated with Unreal Engine, from the robust integration plugin to the LODs that come with each asset, and, of course, the availability of the ecosystem completely free for use with the engine.
For free access to Bridge, Mixer, and every asset in the Megascans library, just click the “Sign In” button on the Quixel homepage and log on using your Epic Games credentials, and you’re good to go.
Quixel Bridge 2020
With the 2020 update, Bridge has been revamped from the ground up to give you an unparalleled asset-browsing, downloading, and exporting experience. Over a hundred new collections have been added to the library, along with hundreds of thousands of new tags for every asset, making it easier than ever to find what you’re looking for.

Once you’ve found the perfect asset, just hit the download button, then send it straight to Unreal Engine with the “Export” button, which sets up the proper material, textures, and LOD automatically.

Quixel Mixer 2020
Quixel Mixer is an all-in-one texturing solution that combines 3D texturing, tillable material creation, and asset style transfer, all powered with Mixer’s hybrid scan-based/procedural texturing workflow. Mixer is also completely free to use—no strings attached.

Mixer 2020 allows you to push the boundaries of what you can do with scan data, and this update is just the first step in a long-term effort to give you powerful texturing tools that make every asset dynamic.

Thanks to the Smart Material system, such materials can then be saved for later use, and applied to as many assets as you want, all with a single click. Additionally, Mixer comes with a vast array of Smart Materials, and a plethora of new ones are already in the works for the next update.

Quixel Mixer is available for everyone, for free. Download Mixer now. Want to learn more?
